Hat Creek Ranch & Whistler

Shuswap - Canada's First Nation people - one of the last trading posts used in the 1800's - now open fior tours to educate visitors, much like our aboriginal culture. Arrived in Whistler this afternoon - cold (brrrr) and raining - not used to this !!!

Mt Robson & Sun Peaks

Highest mountain in Canada & we were very fortunate to see the whole mountain as it's usually covered in cloud. Sun Peaks - a beautiful European style ski village. Sightings of a bear just the day before we got there...............................typical !!!!!

Maligne Canyon

Early Sat morning visit to Maligne Canyon - 51 metres deep at it's deepest point. We had a adventure guide take us around and show us some Moose & Elk antlers - very heavy.

Athabasca Falls & Jasper

The falls run off the Athabasca river which is fed by the Glacier melt. Jasper - a quaint little town, not much time to see a lot and very hot when we arrived 26 degrees !!

Athabasca Glacier

We walked on the Glacier - our first taste of cold, windy and melting under our feet - but awesome
